Mark is on a mission to help food and beverage companies make their products safer. As CEO of Universal Pure, Mark lives and breathes the cold pasteurization method called High Pressure Processing (HPP). Mark possesses a conviction for helping companies find success in their commitment to food safety, sustainability and differentiation.
As a graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Mark’s career has spanned positions at Nestlé, Quaker Oats, SC Johnson, Griffith Foods, Specialized Technology Resources (now part of Underwriters Laboratories), ConAgra Brands and FONA International. Mark Duffy built his expertise in food safety over his 25-year career in the food industry and now shares his knowledge with passion with his team at Universal Pure.
Jeff serves as President at Universal Pure and is the company’s longest tenured employee. With 35 years of experience in the food industry, mainly in the protein segment, Jeff is very passionate about food safety and the role Universal Pure plays in the market. Jeff’s experience has spanned sales and leadership positions at Cook Family Foods, ConAgra Brands, and Omaha Steaks.
Bill joined Universal Pure in January 2014 with 20 years of refrigerated logistics experience and nine years in the HPP industry. Bill supports our sales efforts in continuing to grow Universal Pure as the leader in the HPP industry.
Chris joined Universal Pure as Chief Financial Officer in October 2013. He is responsible for the oversight of Accounting and Finance. In addition, he works in close partnership with the other Executives to help develop and successfully implement the company’s long term growth strategy. Prior to joining Universal Pure, Chris was a Financial Operating Partner at Graham Partners. While at Graham Partners, his work centered on financial consulting, acting as a hands on advisor to the underlying portfolio companies CEO’s and CFO’s. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Villanova University.
As a graduate of Doane College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Curt is a 46 year veteran in the food industry and has held senior positions at Sun-Husker Foods and Meyer Natural Angus. Curt has worked at Universal Pure for over 8 years and his responsibilities include Quality Assurance, Food Safety, IT, and Safety.
As a graduate of Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology / Management, Randy’s career has spanned positions at GrafTech International, Thomas & Betts, Kohler Company and 3M Company. Prior to joining Universal Pure, Randy has been recognized for his leadership skills in improving safety, productivity, developing a quality culture while streamlining operations with proven Lean Manufacturing Concepts.
