Universal Pure began 2019 with momentum and renewed purpose. Under the new leadership and guidance of Tilia Holdings, our team sought out immediate growth opportunities to expand our national footprint and increase our service capabilities to better serve our loyal and growing customer base. In July, we proudly announced our acquisition of Stay Fresh Foods, Meriden, CT. This transaction extended our already robust High Pressure Processing (HPP) footprint, as well as added a new capability of beverage bottling and co-packing to our suite of value-added services. This achievement demonstrates our commitment to service – always offering the most integrated food safety and cold chain efficiency solutions for our customers.
We’re already starting the new year off strong by being named one of Refrigerated & Frozen Foods Magazine’s Processors to Watch in 2020. This certainly reaffirms our commitment to continued success in the future. Universal Pure is the largest provider of HPP services in North America.
